Event Overview
The Tunnel 10k is a running event taking place in Fowey, Cornwall. The course utilizes a private clay road between Fowey and Par that is usually closed to the public. This flat and traffic free route is set on a tarmac surface, providing a fast environment for participants.
A primary feature of the course is the Pinnock tunnel. At just over 1 km in length, it is recognized as the longest tunnel in Cornwall. The race follows a loop format, starting and finishing at Fowey Docks.

The event is open to participants aged 7 and older. Runners between the ages of 7 and 15 must be accompanied by an adult who is also registered for the race. While dogs and bicycles are not permitted on the course, running buggies and pushchairs are allowed.
Facilities and Logistics
The event headquarters are located at Fowey Docks, where toilets and refreshments are available for participants and spectators. A water station is positioned at the 5 km mark of the course. All participants who complete the distance receive a commemorative memento.
Parking options include the Caffa Mill and Station Yard car parks situated next to the start area. Additional parking is available at the main Fowey car park, located approximately 10 to 15 minutes away by foot. Proceeds from the event support the Fowey Gig Club.
