Event Overview

The Looe 10 Miler is a 10-mile road running event. It is an open event and is also part of the Cornish Grand Prix series. The 2026 edition is raising money for the Cornwall Air Ambulance. There is a children's 'Mini Miler' race beforehand. Registration for the main event opens on October 1, 2025, and closes on February 27, 2026. The entry fee is £20 for UKA/ARC-affiliated runners and £22 for unaffiliated runners. The event is currently full, so new entries are placed on a waiting list.

Route

The course is an undulating run through West Looe and out onto the coastal road to Talland. A loop around the Killigarth and Porthallow area leads back to Talland for the return to the finish. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs, and dogs, pushchairs, and walkers are not permitted. The race starts and finishes at the Millpool Car Park. There are three water stations on the route. Runners must obey marshal instructions and take responsibility for their own safety, especially on public roads. The event has a time limit of 2 hours and 45 minutes. The use of portable devices with earphones, headphones, or earbuds is prohibited and will result in disqualification.

Event Day Details

Race HQ and registration are located downstairs in The Millpool Centre, with registration from 09:00 to 10:30. Pre-entered runners must collect their race numbers on the morning of the race. Some on-the-day entries may be available. Parking is available in the Millpool Car Park (postcode PL13 2AF), which is a Cornwall Council 'Pay & Display' facility. Hot and cold drinks and food will be available for purchase from mobile stands operated by The Brew Box and Coasters, Looe.
