Event overview
The Looe 10 Miler takes place on Sunday 1 March 2026 in Looe, Cornwall. The road race distance is 10 miles. It is run as part of the Cornish Grand Prix series and will support the Cornwall Air Ambulance. The minimum age for entry is 17 on the event date. Entries open 1 October 2025 and close 27 February 2026. Entry fees are listed as UKA/ARC affiliated £18 (rising to £20 from 01/01/2026) and unaffiliated £20 (rising to £22 from 01/01/2026).
Course and race rules
The route is an undulating road course through West Looe, then onto the coastal road to Talland, with a loop around the Killigarth and Porthallow area before returning to Talland and the finish. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs. Dogs, pushchairs and walkers are not permitted. There are three water stations around miles 3, 6 and 9. Marshals will be on course but they are not allowed to stop traffic, so runners must take responsibility for their own safety. Use of portable audio devices with earphones, headphones or earbuds is prohibited and will result in disqualification and no recorded time. A 2 hour 45 minute time limit applies.
Logistics
Race HQ and number collection are at the Millpool Centre in the Millpool Car Park, postcode PL13 2AF. Pay and display parking is available in the Millpool Car Park; council charges apply. Hot and cold food and drinks will be available from mobile vendors. Transfers and deferrals are permitted up to 27 February 2026 via the event entry system or by contacting the organiser.
