Event Overview
The Tulsa Tri takes place on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Twin Cove Point on Birch Lake in Barnsdall, Oklahoma. It is organized by the Tulsa Area Triathletes, a local non-profit club. This multi-sport event features several race formats.

- Swim Only - 500 meter
- Swim Only - 1500 meter
A Safety Swim Wave is available for the Sprint Triathlon. Participants can opt into this wave during registration if they feel uncomfortable with the swim portion. They will start at the back of the waves with a SaferSwimmer buoy and will not be eligible for Age Group awards.
Event Details
Packet pickup occurs at RunnersWorld Tulsa (3920 S Peoria, Tulsa) on the Friday and Saturday before the race. Photo ID is required, and only the racer can pick up their own packet. Those living more than 30 miles outside Tulsa can pick up their packet on race morning with prior email approval.
The event follows USA Triathlon (USAT) rules regarding wetsuit use, which is dependent on water temperature. There are no refunds for weather, cancellation, or postponement, but registration can be deferred to the following year if done by a specified deadline.
