Tulsa Tri is a multisport event held at Twin Cove Point on Birch Lake in Barnsdall, Oklahoma. The event program includes individual and relay triathlons, aquabike, and swim-only options across sprint and Olympic distances.
Distances offered:
- Sprint: 500 meter lake swim, 12 mile road bike, 5 km run.
- Olympic: 1500 meter lake swim, 30 mile road bike, 10 km run.
- Aquabike (Olympic): 1500 meter swim, 30 mile road bike.
- Swim only: 500 meter and 1500 meter options.
Relay teams consist of two or three participants. Each team member may complete one or two parts of the triathlon. Each relay participant receives a race shirt and a finisher medal.
Packet pickup is at RunnersWorld Tulsa, 3920 S Peoria, Tulsa 74105. Competitors must present photo identification; only the registered racer may pick up their packet. Relay team members must each pick up their own packet. Competitors living more than 30 miles outside Tulsa may arrange alternate pickup on race morning with the organizer.
No refunds are issued for weather, cancellation, or postponement. Registrations can be deferred for one year for a $15 deferral fee if submitted by September 10, 2026.
USAT wetsuit rules apply: wetsuits allowed at 78°F or lower; allowed without awards or ranking at 78.1–83.9°F; prohibited at 84°F or higher. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
