About the race
Sky Trail Adventure Challenge is an on-site adventure race at Camp McClintock in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, organized by the Cherokee Area Council Scouting America. The event begins with a wall climb and a zipline before the timed course. Participants ascend a 24-foot climbing tower, zip across Sand Creek, and cross a suspension bridge back to the start area.
The timed course mixes trail running and paddling and includes varied terrain such as rocky sections, grassy fields, and notable elevation changes. Kayaks are provided for the paddling portion. The event is for adults 18 and over and limits total entries to keep field sizes small. Certified volunteers supervise climbing and kayak safety and provide required safety equipment. Dogs are not permitted.
The event uses zero waste to landfill practices. Provided items are compostable or recyclable, compost and recycling receptacles will be available, and each entry includes a native plant supplied by a local nursery. Packet pickup on the morning of the event will include snacks and locally roasted coffee. Entrance fees support Scouting America programming across six counties in Oklahoma.
