Event Overview

The Tulsa Area Triathletes Chris Brown Tulsa Duathlon takes place at Mohawk Park in Tulsa. The event includes an adult duathlon and separate kids duathlon races.

Adult Events

The main duathlon consists of three segments: a 5km road run, a 25km road bike ride, and another 5km road run. The run course uses a closed paved road within the park and is described as flat. The bike course travels on city streets and is relatively flat with some rolling hills.

Available formats are:

  • Individual Duathlon (open to ages 13-90)
  • Relay Team Duathlon (per person fee, open to ages 13-90)

Kids Events

Two kids duathlon events are held after the adult race concludes on closed, car-free park roads. They are timed events where all finishers receive a medal.

  • Ages 6-8: 0.5 mile run, 1 mile bike, 0.5 mile run
  • Ages 9-12: 1 mile run, 2 mile bike, 1 mile run

All youth participants must have a current USA Triathlon membership, which can be purchased during registration. Safety gear, including a helmet, is mandatory.

Logistics

Packet pickup for all events is at RunnersWorld Tulsa on specified dates before the race. Only the adult participant can pick up their own packet with photo ID. Parents may pick up for their child.
