Tullaroan Festival of Running
Tullaroan Festival of Running is a multi-distance running event held by Tullaroan Athletics Club in the village of Tullaroan, County Kilkenny. The event is scheduled for Saturday 05th/06/2027 and offers a range of race distances alongside a team competition.
Race distances and entry fees include:
- 5k €10
- 10k €20
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles) €25
- Full Marathon (26.2 miles) €40
- Ultra Marathon (39.3 miles) €50
The festival includes a team competition in which a team of four fields one runner in each of these distances: 5k, 10k, half marathon, and full marathon. Teams compete in three categories: Ladies, Gents, and Mixed. The team in each category with the fastest combined time across the four events wins.
Course notes indicate the half marathon is one loop and the full marathon is two loops of the same route. Route maps are available for the 5k, 10k, half and full courses.
On-site facilities listed for participants include camping and camper van parking, shower facilities, and ample parking. Finishers receive a bespoke medal, and finishers of the ultra, full, half and 10k receive a Tullaroan event T-shirt.
