About the race
Tullaroan Festival of Running is an annual running event organised by Tullaroan Athletics Club in the village of Tullaroan, Co. Kilkenny. The event offers multiple race distances and a team competition across those distances. The published date for the event is Sat 05th/06/2027.
Available race distances and entry fees:
- 5k - €10
- 10k - €20
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles) - €25
- Full Marathon (26.2 miles) - €40
- Ultra Marathon (39.3 miles) - €50
The team competition requires a team of four, with one member entered at each of these distances: 5k, 10k, Half Marathon and Full Marathon. Teams compete in three categories: Ladies, Gents, and Mixed. The team in each category with the fastest aggregate time over the four events wins.
Course notes: the Half Marathon is a single loop and the Full Marathon comprises two loops of that route. On-site facilities listed include camping and camper van parking, shower facilities, and ample parking. After the races there are refreshments including home baking and a bar at the finish area. All finishers receive a bespoke medal; finishers of the Ultra, Full, Half Marathon and 10k receive a Tullaroan event t-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
