Tuesdays In The Park Ice Cream 5k & Kids Fun Run
This event is a recurring race series presented by Keystone Running Store and directed by The RUNegades. It takes place on the fourth Tuesday of each month from May through August at Pottstown Riverfront Park, 140 College Drive, Pottstown, Pennsylvania, in the Schuylkill River Heritage Area parking lot. Scheduled dates in the series include May 26, June 23, July 28, and August 25.
The event offers the following distances:
- 5K race
- Kids 1 mile fun run for ages 10 and under
Registration is open for individual races with a listed fee of $22.50 for preregistration and $25.00 on race day. The kids fun run is free. Race day registration is available at the park. Registration opening and closing dates are provided by the organizer.
Amenities include free ice cream for all runners provided by Coventry Parlor. The Iron Gate Biergarten, located at 230 East High Street, provides a free beer to runners age 21 and over. Awards are given to the top overall male and female and to the top three male and female finishers in each age division. Age divisions are 12 and under, 13 to 15, 16 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79, and 80 and over.
