JMC Running Co: 4-Hour Relay & Solo-Ultra Challenge
The event is the tenth edition of the 4-Hour Relay and Solo Ultra Challenge held at Charlestown Park (100 Academic Way, Phoenixville, PA 19460). It offers two competitive formats on a measured loop that starts and finishes at pavilion #2, where the event camp will be set up. A course map will be provided the week of the event.
The 4-Hour Relay is a team event for five runners. Each team member runs the loop in sequence and hands off to the next runner, repeating the sequence for the event duration. A single loop measures approximately 2.2 miles and the team that covers the greatest total distance will be declared the winner. The published registration fee for the relay is $49.00 and registration closes 05/31/2026.
The 4-Hour Solo Ultra Challenge is an individual event on the same loop. Solo participants complete as many laps as possible during the event timeframe; participants may run, jog, walk or use any method to increase distance. The published registration fee for the solo challenge is $79.00 and registration closes 05/31/2026.
Water and food will be provided during the event. Participants may bring tents, coolers and other supplies. Cash awards are listed for winners. Registration opens on the dates posted for each event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
