2026 Tuesday Night 5k #5 - Wakefield Park
This event is a chip-timed 5k held at Wakefield Park that awards finisher’s medals and does not include event shirts. Points from the race count toward the Weekday Race Series (one of eight events in 2026) and toward the Year-Long 5k and Back of the Pack Series. Walkers are welcome.
The event includes:
- 5k - mostly paved with a short section of grass and limited elevation gain
- 10k - out-and-back with some small hills and about 40% trail
Entry for the 5k is listed at $22; the price increases by $5 on race day. Packet pickup is available at the event and race day registration is offered; arriving about one hour before the event is recommended for check-in. One water station is located at approximately mile 1.55 on the 5k course; Gatorade will be available at some water stations. Restrooms are located in the rec center.
Live results are posted on Athlinks and via a QR code at the race, with final results and series points posted on the Monday after the race. Runner tracking via SMS is available through registration. The organizer states the event is held in most weather conditions, with officials able to delay or cancel for safety reasons. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
