Event overview
The 11th annual Chocolate Run takes place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Lumberman’s Arch in Stanley Park, Vancouver. The event offers three distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
The routes use the fully paved Stanley Park Seawall and include views of the city, the northern mountains, and the Lion's Gate Bridge. Stanley Park covers about 400 hectares and features west coast forest with cedar, hemlock, and fir trees.
Registration fees vary by distance and sales period; the listed price ranges are: 5K $53–$65, 10K $58–$70, Half Marathon $78–$100. Race kits are available only during posted package pick-up times and souvenir items are while supplies last.
Logistics and services
The event is chip timed. Participants must attach the timing tag to their shoe; results require the tag and returned tags avoid a $40 charge. Race bibs should be attached to the front of the body. Provided on-course services include: no water station on the 5K, one water station on the 10K, and two water stations on the Half Marathon. Washrooms are listed at the start/finish, Water Park, and Second Beach Pool. Bag check is available by donation at the charity table near start/finish. Awards are given to overall top 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for male and female. Random draw prizes are distributed at the finish. Supporting partners include CanPrev, FitFirst, and The Morgan Method.
