Truman Days 5K
The Truman Days 5K is a community run or walk open to participants of any age. The entry fee for this event is $20.00; participants ages 10 and under may register for free. Race day registration is available in person.
Pre registered participants who register on or before June 29 are guaranteed a t shirt in the size they select and a swag bag. All registered participants are eligible to receive a t shirt if supplies allow, and will receive post race refreshments and an opportunity to win a prize in a post race drawing.
Awards are given to top male and female finishers in each age group: under 10, 11 to 14, 15 to 19, and by decade after that.
Logistics note: packet pick up and race day registration are handled at the high school parking lot at 401 E 1st St. S in Truman. The race starts on the west side of Truman Bus Service at 332 S. 4th Ave E and finishes back at the high school parking lot. In the event of inclement weather that makes the race unsafe to facilitate, organizers will attempt to postpone but may cancel; no refunds will be given if expenses have already been incurred.
