Trufant Jubilee "Stump Chasers" 5k
The Trufant Jubilee "Stump Chasers" is an annual run and walk event held in Trufant, Michigan. The event starts near the north entrance and parking area of the Trufant Flea Market. Participants proceed up 4th Street to Kohler toward the starting line before following a route that traverses country roads and returns to the registration area.
The event features a single distance:
- 5 km (3.1 miles) Run/Walk
The course includes a water station along the route. Upon finishing, participants are provided with light snacks and water. Both runners and walkers start the race together, and the event is open to participants of all ages and abilities. The race is professionally timed, with results available live during the event and posted online afterward.
Awards are presented to the overall winners and the top three finishers in several age categories, ranging from 12 and under to 60 and over. A portion of the proceeds from the registration fees benefits the Michigan Lyme Disease Association. Participants who register by the designated deadline in August are guaranteed an event t-shirt, while others are available based on supply.
