Springfest 5K
The Springfest 5K is the Sheridan Community Hospital annual run/walk held at the Sheridan Community Center, 205 St. Clair St., Sheridan, MI 48884. The event features a single 5k (3.1 miles) out-and-back course that begins in a residential area by the community center and goes out to the country. The course is flat, with mile markers at 1 and 2 miles and an aid station at the halfway point.
Registration opens on 2026-02-01 at 09:00 and closes on 2026-05-01 at 23:59. The entry fee is $25 through May 1, then $30 afterward. Registrants who pre-register by the end of day May 1 are guaranteed a T-shirt; T-shirts remain available after that date while quantities last.
Packet pickup is scheduled on race morning from 7:00 AM to 8:15 AM. Age brackets include 10 and under, 11-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and over 70. Awards are given to the top three in each age bracket (medals), top overall men and women (plaques), and top masters over 40 men and women (plaques). There is a $20 gift card prize for the first man and first woman to reach the 1-mile marker.
