Springfest 5K
Springfest 5K is a community 5 kilometer run and walk held on May 23, 2026 in Sheridan, Michigan. The event is based at the Sheridan Community Center, 205 St. Clair St., Sheridan 48884. Registration pricing is listed as $25 until May 1 and $30 after that. Pre-registration by the end of day May 1 guarantees a T-shirt while quantities last; T-shirts are described as super soft cotton.
The course is described as flat and starts in a residential area by the Community Center before going out to the country. The route is an out and back with mile markers at 1 and 2 miles and an aid station at the halfway point.
Packet pickup is scheduled on race morning. Age brackets are 10 and under, 11-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and over 70. Awards include medals for the top three in each age bracket, plaques for top overall men and women, and plaques for top masters over 40. There is a $20 gift card for the first man and woman to reach the 1 mile marker. Timing is provided by the Michigan Running Foundation and results are available live during the race and afterwards.
