Event Overview
The Springfest 5K is a run and walk event on Saturday, May 23, 2026, in Sheridan, Michigan. The start and finish location is the Sheridan Community Center at 205 St. Clair St. The registration fee is $25 until May 1, 2026, and increases to $30 after that date.
Course Details
The course is described as flat. It starts in a residential area by the Sheridan Community Center and proceeds out into the country. The route is an out-and-back format. There are mile markers at the 1-mile and 2-mile points, and an aid station is located at the halfway point.
Participant Information
Packet pickup is available on race day from 7:00 AM to 8:15 AM. Participants who pre-register by the end of the day on May 1st are guaranteed a t-shirt; t-shirts are available after that date only while supplies last. The event is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation, with results available live during the race and online afterward.
Awards Structure
Awards are given across multiple age brackets. The top three finishers in each age bracket receive medals. Additional awards include plaques for the top overall male and female finishers, and plaques for the top male and female masters finishers (over 40).
