True to the Brew Trail Run/Hike Half Marathon
On October 2, 2027 at Croft State Park in Spartanburg, SC, the True to the Brew Trail Run/Hike Half Marathon covers 13.1 miles on the Croft Passage of the Palmetto Trail. Both the start and finish are at Croft State Park and the course features forest scenery, rolling terrain, creek crossings and single-track sections.
The course is described as moderate with some hills and technical sections; a four-hour cutoff applies. The event is presented as a run or hike, and hikers receive the same bib, timing and results as runners. Dogs and strollers are not allowed on the course. Participants must be at least 15 years old on race day.
Included for finishers are a custom bottle opener finisher medal, a full hot breakfast prepared by event staff and volunteers, and a complimentary beer at the finish. Race swag includes a pullover for those who register by the swag deadline; a No Pullover option is available at registration. Packet pickup occurs the day before at RJ Rockers Brewing Company and on race morning at the start line.
