True Options Turkey Trot
True Options Turkey Trot is a community charity running event in Sherman, Texas, held on November 21, 2026 at 402 W Pecan St, Sherman, TX 75090. Proceeds support True Options Pregnancy Center to provide services for men and women facing unplanned pregnancy.
The event includes the following distances:
- 5K
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
The 1 Mile Fun Run offers a novelty element where participants can try to beat a racing turkey for a prize. A 5K team category is available for groups of five or more that must register together.
Packet pick-up is scheduled for November 20 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at Fairview Baptist Church, 222 W. Taylor, Sherman, TX. The 5K uses chip timing and live results are published by the event timing partner. Awards are given overall for male and female and 1st through 3rd place in age groups: 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
T-shirt availability depends on registration timing; registering early increases the chance of receiving a shirt but sizes may be limited or unavailable on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
