True Options Turkey Trot
The True Options Turkey Trot is the 11th annual community running event hosted by True Options Pregnancy Center in Sherman, Texas. It is scheduled for November 21, 2026 and takes place at 402 W Pecan St, Sherman, TX 75090. All event proceeds are designated to support services for men and women facing unplanned pregnancy.
The event program includes several participation options:
- 5K Run with chip timing
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
- Fun Run featuring a racing turkey and a prize
- Sleep In T-shirt option
- 5K Team entries for groups of five or more
The 5K has age group awards by gender and place. Awards are given overall male and female and 1st through 3rd in these age groups: 1–14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70 plus. Live race results are published online through race timing services.
T-shirt distribution depends on early registration and sizes may not be available for all participants on race day. Sponsorship opportunities are offered for the event. The presentation is family oriented and includes both a timed competitive race and noncompetitive walking and fun run options. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
