St. Mary's Run Run Rudolph Race Information
St. Mary's Run Run Rudolph is the 16th annual holiday family event that includes a timed 5K and a 1 Mile Family Fun Run in Sherman, Texas. The event supports Children’s Education and Academic Excellence at St. Mary’s School.
Packet pick-up is scheduled for Friday, December 4th from 11:00am to 3:00pm at the St. Mary’s School gym area (McCullough Center / SMS Gym Loop at Sparrow and Walnut). Online registration closes at 5:00pm on Thursday, December 3rd; in-person registration is available on race day.
Race features and services include complimentary hot chocolate and hot apple cider before the runs, festive costumes and attire, and optional reindeer antler and nose packages available for purchase at $10 each. The 5K is chip timed by Chip‑2‑Chip Race Timing; timing chips are located on the bib and must be worn on the front of the body to be timed and eligible for awards. Results are posted at the race and later on the timing company's site. Pre-registered participants can access results via a QR code on their bib.
Entry fees vary by date: 5K individual, team and 1 Mile Fun Run pricing increases after November 25 and again on race day. The 5K course runs on city streets, begins and ends in the St. Mary’s Catholic School parking lot, and includes a water station. Children in the 1 Mile Fun Run receive a jingle bell necklace award.
