Grinch Gallop - Van Alstyne, TX
The Grinch Gallop is a community running event held on December 19, 2026 in Van Alstyne, Texas. The primary course is a 5K out-and-back that starts and ends at Grayson College and follows country roads.
The event is chip timed. All participants receive a Grinch themed finisher medal, a race shirt, and a Grinch donut. Awards are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female in the overall and masters categories. Age group awards, three deep, are given for these groups: 14 and under; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70 and over.
Packet pickup is available at Buff City Soap - Van Alstyne, 136 N. Main Drive, Van Alstyne, TX 75495. Scheduled pickup times are Wednesday, December 17, 2:00pm - 6:00pm and Thursday, December 18, 2:00pm - 6:00pm. There is limited race day packet pickup and a friend or family member may collect a packet on behalf of a participant.
