Grinch Gallop
The Grinch Gallop is a holiday-themed athletic event held in Van Alstyne, Texas. Participants navigate a course composed of country roads within the local area. The event is open to various forms of movement, including running, walking, and skipping. The race is chip timed, allowing for official results and competitive rankings across different categories.

All participants receive a race shirt, a themed finisher medal, and a specific donut upon completion of the course. Awards are structured to recognize high-performing participants, with prizes for the top three male and female finishers in the overall and masters divisions. Additionally, age group awards are distributed three deep for categories starting at 14 and under, continuing in five-year increments up to 70 and over.
Pre-race logistics include packet pickup sessions held at a local business on North Main Drive during the two days preceding the event. The organizers provide limited opportunities for packet pickup on the day of the race and allow friends or family members to collect materials on behalf of a participant.
