Event Overview
The TRSA Cleland National Park event takes place on trails within Cleland National Park in the Adelaide Hills. The park conserves bushland and offers a network of trails through native wildlife and cultural heritage zones, with views of the Adelaide Hills. The course is described as hilly. Course Details
The event offers four distances:
- Long – 21 km with 824 m of elevation gain.
- Medium – 16 km with 738 m of elevation gain.
- Short – 10 km with 412 m of elevation gain.
- Kids – 1.5 km cross country run.
The long course is a UTMB® Index race and ITRA National Challenge event, awarding 1 ITRA point.
Event Information
All finishers receive medals, and there is a members-only random draw. The event is cup-free, so participants must bring their own hydration vessel. A mobile phone is mandatory gear. Drink stations provide water and lollies. Carpooling is essential due to limited parking, with a requirement of three occupants per vehicle for the main car park.
A free, approximately 1.5 km Junior Speedsters run for kids is held near the finish line. Kids U15 entry fees are 50% of standard fees. Participants can change their registered distance online by the Thursday before the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
