Trolley Trail Day Fun Run : Hyattsville, June 13, 2026
Trolley Trail Day brings community runs along the Trolley Trail in Hyattsville, Maryland. Organizers include RunnersHy, Haraka Run and Walk and the Anacostia Trail Heritage Area. Participants gather at Haraka Run and Walk and the events conclude at Melrose Skatepark. Registration for the listed events is free.
Three route options follow the Trolley Trail corridor:
- 5K: north on Trolley Trail, right on Woodberry Street, loop around Snail Trail.
- 10K: north to Quebec Street in Berwyn Heights, return south to Melrose Skatepark.
- 1 Mile: family walk/run south on Trolley Trail from Haraka to Melrose Skatepark.
The 10K route connects Hyattsville with Riverdale, College Park and Berwyn Heights. The description notes caution is needed when crossing major roads Queensbury and Campus Drive. Activities at Melrose Skatepark are planned after the runs and include vendors, a plank challenge and music by Hy-Fi Groove Society at the south end of the Hyattsville Activity Hub.
