TriWalloon : Saturday July 18, 2026

TriWalloon is a multi-sport event held in Walloon Village at Walloon Lake, Michigan, between Petoskey and Boyne City. The program includes a sprint triathlon, sprint duathlon, sprint aquabike, and a sprint relay. Entry fees listed on the event page are generally $100 for individual sprint events and $150 for the sprint relay. Some category-specific events (Athena, Clydesdale) are offered; the Clydesdale category is shown as sold out and the Athena category has limited spots. The event is managed by Bridge Street Ministries and 100% of race proceeds are directed to the ministry's inner-city work.

Course and logistics

The swim is a 600 meter triangular course that starts and finishes at the docks of Legacy Marina. The transition area is located in the park next to Barrel Back Restaurant. The bike is a 12.4 mile out-and-back route along country roads on the south side of Walloon Lake. The run is a two-loop course through Walloon Lake Township with a finish at the park next to Legacy Marina. The duathlon begins with one loop of the run, then the bike, then the two-loop run. The aquabike uses the 600 meter swim followed by the bike course.

Packet pickup and late registration take place at Legacy Marina Pro Shop, 4069 M-75, Walloon Lake, MI 49796, with an evening session the day before and a morning session on race day. Participants receive an athlete bag, bib and bike numbers, swim cap, race shirt, course maps, and a timing chip. Refunds of registration fees are available for a $5 fee through April 30; after that refunds are limited and deferrals are available until race week. The organizer may postpone or cancel the race for severe weather; if the race is canceled no refunds or deferrals will be offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
