Overview
TriWalloon is a multisport event in Walloon Village, Michigan, featuring sprint-distance competitions.
Events
The event includes several sprint-format disciplines:
- Sprint Triathlon (individual)
- Sprint Triathlon - Athena (female 165+ lbs.)
- Sprint Triathlon - Clydesdale (male 220+ lbs.)
- Sprint Relay (team triathlon)
- Sprint Aquabike (swim and bike only)
- Sprint Duathlon (run, bike, run)
The relay is open to participants aged 13 and older. The proceeds from the event go to Bridge Street Ministries.
Course Details
The venue is at Legacy Marina on Walloon Lake. The swim is a triangular 600-meter course starting and finishing at the marina docks. The transition area is located in the park next to Barrel Back Restaurant.
The bike course is a 12.4-mile out-and-back route on country roads along the south side of the lake. The run is a two-loop course through Walloon Lake Township, finishing back at the park by the marina.
For the duathlon, the format is one run loop, then the bike segment, followed by the full two-loop run. The aquabike event consists of the swim and the bike course.

The event typically sells out with over 350 participants. Packet pickup is available the evening before the race and on race morning at Legacy Marina Pro Shop.
