Event overview
The Triple Lakes Trail Race is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Bur-Mil Park in Greensboro, North Carolina. The course runs on watershed trails around Lake Brandt, Lake Townsend, and Lake Jeanette. Distances and event formats offered include:

- Marathon (individual or relay)
- 40-Mile Ultra (individual or relay)
- Virtual race options and ruck events
The race is celebrating its 20th year. The course is described as well marked with aid stations and generous time cutoffs. The event is part of the North Carolina Trail Mega Medal Series.
Entry, logistics and awards
Registration includes a custom race shirt, a finisher medal (part of the Mega Medal Series), chip timing with splits and live results, race photos, and post-race food and drinks. Parking is available throughout Bur-Mil Park; two paved lots are on the left when entering from Owl's Roost Road and limited grass parking is near the start/finish at the back of the park. The race start/finish is at the back of the park and requires an approximate 0.3 mile walk from the lot; volunteers will assist with parking.
Timing uses disposable bib chips and athletes are asked to wear their race number on the front and visible. All finishers receive a custom Triple Lakes medal. Awards are given to top finishers by gender in each distance, to top relay teams, and by age groups (0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+). A $15 fee applies to mail awards.
Refund and transfer policies: no refunds within 30 days of the event; earlier than 30 days a 50% refund may be requested (processing fees excluded). Entries cannot be deferred to another event or year. Transfers to another individual are allowed for a $5 fee; t-shirt size cannot be changed. If the race is canceled for reasons beyond the organizer's control, refunds will not be issued but race packets will be made available at a location to be determined.
