The Running of the Turkeys is a Thanksgiving morning event in Greensboro, NC at 3802 Jaycee Park Drive, Greensboro, NC 27455. The event offers the following distances:

5K Run/Walk (timed)
Family Fun Walk & Run - 2 miles (untimed)

The 5K registration price shown is $18 and the Family Fun Walk & Run price shown is $10.

Participation, extras, and charity

Registration is required for all humans age 7 and up. All registered participants receive a turkey swag item; 5K registrants receive a long sleeve event shirt. Swag items and shirts cannot be guaranteed for registrations after November 10. Strollers and leashed pets are allowed. Teams of four or more receive a $20 group refund (each team member receives $5); each additional team member saves $5 on registration. A prize is offered to the largest team. The event supports A Simple Gesture and participants may bring non-perishable food donations to packet pickup or race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
