Running of the Turkeys
Running of the Turkeys takes place at Country Park, 3802 Jaycee Park Drive, Greensboro NC on 11/26/2026. The event offers in-person and virtual options and includes both timed and untimed formats.
Distances and formats
- 5K timed run
- 1.6 miles Family Fun Walk and Run, untimed
- 3.1 miles Virtual 5K
All registered participants receive a turkey swag item. Registration for the timed 5K includes a long sleeve shirt. Strollers are welcome and leashed pets may participate. The Family Fun Walk and Run is described as puppy friendly.
Registration is required for all humans age 7 and up. Participants may form teams during registration. When a team has four or more members the group receives a $20 refund, which is applied as a $5 refund per team member. Each additional team member saves $5 off the current registration price. A prize is offered to the largest team.
