Running of the Turkeys : Greensboro, NC
The Running of the Turkeys takes place on November 26, 2026, at 3802 Jaycee Park Drive in Greensboro, NC. The event includes a timed 5K and an untimed family walk and run that follows a roughly 2 mile loop around Country Park.

- Family Fun Walk & Run (Untimed) (2 miles)
Registered participants receive a turkey swag item. Registration for the timed 5K includes a long sleeve event shirt. Swag items and shirts cannot be guaranteed for registrations received after November 10. Strollers and leashed pets are permitted on course. Registration is required for participants aged 7 and older.
Teams can be formed at registration. When a team has four or more members the group receives a $20 refund, which equates to a $5 refund per team member; each additional team member reduces the registration price by $5. A prize is awarded to the largest team.
The event supports A Simple Gesture. Participants may bring non-perishable food donations to packet pickup or race day; the packet pickup information lists needed supplies. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
