The 5K is chip timed and awards are given to top finishers overall and by age group, with prizes for the top three male and female finishers and age categories starting at 18 and under through 70 plus. All awards are based on chip time and must be accepted in person after the race.
Packet pickup takes place in the days before the race at The Natural Dog Pet Food Market, 2431 Battleground Ave, and same day packet pickup is available near the start line. Online registration closes on November 22 and in-person registration is available afterward for set fees at packet pickup and on race morning. Registrants who sign up by the shirt guarantee deadline of October 20 are guaranteed the event long sleeve T-shirt; shirts are distributed with bibs at packet pickup.
Strollers are permitted and children in strollers do not require registration. Pets may attend and run if leashed; participants with strollers or pets are asked to start toward the back for safety.
