Greensboro Gobbler 5K
The Greensboro Gobbler 5K is the 26th annual 5K and 1‑Mile Fun Run/Walk held on Thanksgiving Day in downtown Greensboro. The event is centered at Center City Park, 200 N Elm St, Greensboro, NC, and is associated with Mayflower Brewing.

Packet pickup is offered in the days before the event at The Natural Dog Pet Food Market, 2431 Battleground Ave, Greensboro. Race day packet pickup is available at the registration area near the start and finish line. Participants may pick up packets for others if they have the names of those participants.
All registered participants receive a custom super‑soft long sleeve T-shirt if registered by the shirt guarantee deadline of 10/20/2026; shirt availability after that date is not guaranteed. Leftover shirts may be available for purchase at the event for $10 each.
The 5K is chip timed and finish results are based on chip time. Awards are presented after the race for top three overall male and female 5K finishers and for top male and female in each age group. Age groups are 18 and under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. Award recipients must be present following the race to receive prizes.
The event partners with Greensboro Urban Ministry; fundraising and food donation collection occur at packet pickup and on event day. Multiple parking garages and street parking are available within 0.3 miles of Center City Park. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
