Greensboro Gobbler 5K - 26th Annual

The Greensboro Gobbler 5K returns to Center City Park in downtown Greensboro on November 26, 2026. The event includes a chip-timed 5K and a one-mile fun run/walk, and it identifies Greensboro Urban Ministry as its charitable partner. Food donations are accepted at packet pickup for the charity.

Packet pickup is offered on the three days before the event at The Natural Dog Pet Food Market (2431 Battleground Ave) from 11am-6pm, with race day packet pickup starting at 6:30am near the start/finish area. All participants registered by the shirt guarantee deadline of 10/20/2026 are eligible to receive a long-sleeve unisex T-shirt and a finisher medal; registrations after that date are not guaranteed a shirt or selected size.

The 5K uses electronic chip timing and requests that bibs be worn on the front and visible. Awards are based on chip time and are presented immediately after the race; recipients must be physically present to receive awards. Awards include top three overall male and female in the 5K and top male and female in each age group. Age groups are: 18 and under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 plus.
