Trinona : Winona, MN (June 13-14, 2026)
Trinona is a multi-day multisport event in Winona, Minnesota, held June 13-14, 2026. The event group includes the following race options:
- Olympic triathlon (elite, age-group, relay)
- Sprint triathlon (age-group, relay)
- Duathlon - Run/Bike/Run
- Aquabike - Olympic and Sprint distances
- Trinona Kids - age groups for 5–6, 7–8, 9–10, 11–12, 13–15
The triathlon course includes a swim in Lake Winona beneath Sugar Loaf peak, a country bike course, and a flat run along Lake Winona that finishes at the Lake Park bandshell.

Packet pickup is available at the Winona Family YMCA and at the Winona Lake Park Bandshell on dates around the event. Age rules specify that participants must reach age 18 by 12/31/2026 to enter Olympic distances, and must reach age 13 by 12/31/2026 to enter Sprint triathlon, Duathlon, and Sprint Aquabike distances. Dogs are not allowed in the event area due to a city ordinance. Trinona is a USAT-sanctioned race and follows US Center for Safe Sport policies.
