Donut Dash for Winona Area Public Schools
The Donut Dash takes place on Saturday, May 8, 2027 at Winona Senior High School, 901 Gilmore Avenue, Winona, MN 55987. The event includes a timed 4K run/walk and an untimed 1K Mini Donut kids run. Proceeds support the Foundation for Winona Area Public Schools.
Distances
- 4K (timed): mostly on grass around the school property, about 2.5 miles
- 1K Mini Donut (untimed): free for kids in 4th grade and under; finishers receive medals
Registration opens January 1, 2027. Registration for the 4K closes April 24; the early 4K fee is $25 and increases to $30 on April 24. Participants who register by Friday, April 23 are guaranteed a race t-shirt. Mini Donut registration is required and the kids run is free for eligible children.
Age groups for the 4K apply to both men and women: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. The top three finishers in each age group earn a medal, and there are special awards for the overall male and overall female.
