Donut Dash for Winona Area Public Schools
The Donut Dash for Winona Area Public Schools takes place on May 9, 2026 at Winona Senior High School in Winona, MN. Proceeds support the Foundation for Winona Area Public Schools and the Forging a Future fundraising campaign, benefitting the Industrial Technology Program at WAPS.
Event formats include:
- 4K timed run/walk mostly on grass around the Winona Senior High School property
- 1K Mini Donut untimed kids run, free for children in fourth grade and under; registration is required
The 4K is organized by age groups for both men and women: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. The top three finishers in each age group receive a medal, and special awards are given to the overall male and overall female. All Mini Donut finishers receive a race medal.
A race t-shirt is guaranteed for participants who register by April 24, 2026. The published 4K registration fee is $25 through April 24 and increases to $30 on April 25. Early packet pick-up is available on the day before the event at the high school concourse, and packet pick-up and on-site registration occur at the event venue on race day.
