Competition and awards
The 4K is organized into age groups for both men and women: 13 & under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. The top three finishers in each age group receive a medal. There are also awards for the overall male and female. All Mini Donut finishers receive a race medal.

The event is based at Winona Senior High School, 901 Gilmore Avenue, Winona, MN 55987. Early packet pick-up is available the day before the race in the school concourse; additional packet pick-up and on-site registration occur at the venue on race day.
