Trick or Trot 5k & Fun Run : Natchitoches, LA
Trick or Trot is a charity running event held on October 31, 2026, on the campus of Northwestern State University in Natchitoches. The course starts and finishes in the campus parking lot near Prather Coliseum and Collins Family Pavilion. Proceeds benefit the WAKD Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides mentoring for youth through basketball, faith, and community. Funds will support the foundation's summer basketball camp, Thanksgiving turkey giveaway, and weekly run club.

Registration fee details are set by date: $25 through October 16, which includes a t-shirt; registrants after October 16 are not guaranteed a shirt. A higher fee applies from October 17 through race morning. A sleep-in supporter option is available for $30 by October 16 and includes a t-shirt available at packet pick up.
Packet pick up is available at Premier Fitness & Athletics, 325 South Drive, Natchitoches, LA 71457, on Friday, October 30 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., or at the race site on race morning beginning at 7:00 a.m.
Awards include a $25 gift certificate and a medal for overall male and female finishers, plus medals for first place male and female in each age group: 12-under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
