Red Dirt Ultra - 11th Edition
Red Dirt Ultra is set in Kisatchie National Forest on the Sandstone and Caroline Dormon trail system near Provencal, LA. The routes run through longleaf pine ecosystems and alongside the Kisatchie Bayou, with sections that feel remote and backcountry.
Trails feature loose and hard-packed sand, rocks, mud, water crossings, long climbs, flowing descents, and extended runnable sections beneath pine canopy. The Sandstone and Caroline Dormon routes are multi-use backcountry trails shared with ATV riders and equestrians, producing a variable trail surface that requires attention to footing.
