Steel Magnolia Run in Natchitoches, LA
The Steel Magnolia Run takes place on March 21, 2026 at the Natchitoches Riverbank. It is the NRMC Foundation's sixth annual event and includes in-person and virtual participation options.
The event offers the following distances and options:
- 5k
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
- Virtual Runner option with a race shirt for supporters who do not participate in person
Entry fees and items: Pre-registration and race day fees vary by event. Pre-registration entry fees include a race t-shirt and a goodie bag when registration is completed by March 13, 2026. The Virtual Runner option lets participants donate to the NRMC Foundation and receive a race shirt without walking or running.
Swag bag pick-up is scheduled the day before the event at 111 East 5th Street, NRMC Human Resource Building. Race day pick-up is available at the race site.
Awards and beneficiaries: Proceeds from the event will go to the NRMC Foundation. Awards include Overall Male and Female for the 1 Mile Fun Run and Overall Male and Female plus 1st through 3rd place in each age group for the 5k.
