Event Overview
This is the 14th annual Run, Baby, Run event. It serves as both a fundraiser and awareness event for the Women's Resource Center of Natchitoches, a non-profit pregnancy help medical clinic. Proceeds from the event contribute to its operational costs, supporting services provided free of charge to the local community.
Distances
The event includes the following activities:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
- 5K Children 5-15 only
- Sleep-In Supporter (a non-running registration option)
Event Details
The event takes place in the historic district and downtown Natchitoches riverbank area. It is scheduled to occur on the same day as the Natchitoches Jazz Festival. The starting location is the Natchitoches Riverbank on Front Street.
Pre-registration includes a race t-shirt and goodie bag. A specific order deadline is mentioned for guaranteed t-shirt availability.
Awards
Awards are given for the Overall Male and Female finishers in both the 5K and the 1 Mile Fun Run. For the 5K, awards are also given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female finishers in multiple age groups: 12 and Under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50+. Winners receive a medal and a swag bag.
