Event

The Tricia Davis 5K for Sinai House is scheduled for May 10, 2026 in Rock Creek Park, Washington, DC. The in-person event begins and ends next to the Carter Barron parking lot near Picnic Area #24. It is presented in two parts: a 5K run and the Rainbow of Bubbles Fun Run, plus a Virtual Race option. The Fun Run course is under one mile, has no hills, and is not timed. Proceeds benefit Sinai House, a residential social service program that provides housing, social services, and financial support to help families move from homelessness toward self-sufficiency. Registrations may be converted to virtual participation if a federal government shutdown prevents issuance of the race permit.

Packet pickup is offered on the Friday before the race and on race day at the Carter Barron area near Picnic Site #24. There is no on-site race-day registration at the event site. Free parking is available at the Carter Barron parking lot, 4850 Colorado Ave NW. A bag drop will be located at Registration Check-In near Picnic Area #24. Water will be provided at the start/finish area and at a mid-course station at the intersection of Morrow and Beach Drives. Restrooms are located near Picnic Area #24. T-shirts are included with registration and finisher medals are handed out after crossing the finish line. Strollers and dogs are allowed; dogs must be on leashes shorter than 3 feet and extendible leashes are not permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
