Event Overview
The Bevoman Triathlon returns for its 10th anniversary in 2026. The event is organized entirely by the University of Texas at Austin Triathlon Club. It serves as the South Midwest (SMW) Collegiate Triathlon Championship and is also open to age group athletes.
Race Distances
The event offers several race formats:
- Olympic Open Division: 1500m swim, 40K bike, 10K run
- Sprint Open Division: 750m swim, 20K bike, 5K run
- Olympic Relay: 1500m swim, 40K bike, 10K run
- Collegiate Olympic Distance: 1500m swim, 40K bike, 10K run (access code required)
For 2026, a new Sprint distance race has been added.
Location and Course
The triathlon takes place at Pace Bend Park in Spicewood, Texas. The bike course goes through the rolling hills of the Texas Hill Country, and the run course is along the Colorado River. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
