Course and format
The course uses a 1.64-mile loop layout. Runners repeat the loop to complete their chosen distance: 16 loops for a full marathon and 8 loops for a half marathon. The surface is entirely paved. The route features moderate climbs and gentle descents. Participants can set up a personal aid station and access it once every loop.
Timing, pacers and cutoffs
Professional chip timing is used, with frequent split times provided each lap. The loop format is described as spectator-friendly because supporters can see runners multiple times. Personal pacers are allowed for the marathon; pacers must register in advance, wear an official pacer bib, sign the event waiver, and follow race rules. Marathon participants who complete at least 8 loops but do not finish the full marathon by the event cutoff will receive official half marathon recognition and the half marathon medal. The half marathon has a stated pace requirement of 18:13 per mile (28:15 per loop) to meet its cutoff. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
