Holiday Victory Lap and Star of Texas
The Holiday Victory Lap and Star of Texas events are scheduled at Pace Bend Park in Spicewood, Texas on December 13, 2026. The races use a repeated loop format on a fully paved course that features moderate climbs and gentle descents.
Distances included:
- 50 mile
- 50K
- Marathon (16 loops)
- Half Marathon (8 loops)
- 10K (4 loops)
- 5K (2 loops)
The marathon course is USATF certified with certification code TX25015LAB and is accepted for Boston Marathon qualification. The loop format provides repeated access to the same sections of course and a personal aid station area that runners can use each lap.
Event features include professional chip timing, frequent split times for lap tracking, a spectator friendly layout that brings supporters by the course multiple times, and finisher recognition with a challenge coin and medal. The event is listed as part of a winter series that includes the Advent Run to New Year Challenge and Winter Marathon Series.
Personal pacers are permitted for marathon and ultramarathon entries with prior registration and a fee. The pacer fee covers park entry, event insurance, administrative processing and an official PACER bib. Pacers must register, sign the event waiver, wear the PACER bib, may join a runner after the first loop, must not physically assist the runner, and each runner may have one pacer on course at a time. The pacer policy is maintained in a way that supports Boston Qualifier verification. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
