Event Overview
Triathlon Pink - Sydney takes place at Sydney Olympic Park. This event marks the start of the Ramsay Health Care Triathlon Pink season. The multi-sport occasion includes a variety of triathlon distances and separate fun run options, supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
The triathlon course features a pool swim and a closed road course for the cycling and running segments. Participants can choose between several triathlon categories based on age and distance:
- Ultra: 600m swim, 18km cycle, 7.5km run (minimum age 15)
- Long: 300m swim, 9km cycle, 5km run (minimum age 13)
- Medium: 200m swim, 6km cycle, 2.5km run (minimum age 12)
- Short: 100m swim, 3km cycle, 1km run (minimum age 10)
- Kids (10-13 years): 100m swim, 3km cycle, 1km run
- Kids (7-9 years): 50m swim, 2km cycle, 500m run
In addition to the triathlons, the event hosts several fun run distances on the same day. These options cater to different age groups and preferences:
- 10km Fun Run (minimum age 12)
- 5km Fun Run (minimum age 11)
- 2.5km Fun Run
- 1km Fun Run (no minimum age; under 5s must be accompanied by an adult)
