Triathlon Pink - Sydney
Triathlon Pink at Sydney Olympic Park is a women-focused triathlon event with a pool swim and a closed-road bike course. The event includes multiple triathlon distances, kids races for ages 7 to 13, and a range of fun run distances for families and supporters. Most participants are new to triathlon; the event emphasises a relaxed, supportive atmosphere and offers a beginners Tips and Tricks clinic during event check-in.
Race logistics include a marked transition area where competitors rack bikes and change between swim, bike and run. Only competitors may enter transition, except one parent during kids event setup and pack down. Participants receive a timing chip, swim cap and race bib at check-in. Headphones are not permitted for safety. Bike collection is managed after events when transitions are clear and announced.
Triathlon Pink has partnered with the National Breast Cancer Foundation and has raised over $2.8 million for breast cancer research and support since 2007. Fundraising is optional and the NBCF provides incentives for fundraising milestones. Venue parking is available with a four hour voucher issued at the Aquatic Centre Service Desk to competitors who show their race bib. Course layouts use multi-lap clockwise loops for swim, bike and run and include drink stations on the run course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
