Triathlon Pink - Gold Coast
Triathlon Pink returns to the Gold Coast Performance Centre in Runaway Bay as the second South East Queensland stop of the 2026/2027 season. The event features a pool swim and a closed-road bike course and includes adult and youth categories for children aged 7 to 13.
The event day is organised to be supportive and relaxed. Many participants are new to triathlon; the event provides race information by email in the week before the race and offers an optional Tips and Tricks clinic the day before. Transition areas are controlled spaces for competitors only, with one parent allowed per child during setup and pack down.
Distances offered include:
- Ultra: 600m swim / 16km bike / 7.5km run
- Long: 300m swim / 8km bike / 5km run
- Medium: 200m swim / 6km bike / 2.5km run
- Short: 100m swim / 4km bike / 1.2km run
- Kids 10–13: 100m swim / 4km bike / 1.2km run
- Kids 7–9: 50m swim / 2km bike / 500m run
- Fun runs: 10km, 5km, 2.5km, 1.2km
Triathlon Pink has supported breast cancer charities since 2007 and has raised over $2.5 million for research and support. Fundraising is optional and incentives are available through the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
