Triathlon Pink - Gold Coast
Triathlon Pink at the Gold Coast Performance Centre is a pool‑based triathlon day with closed road cycling and multi‑lap run courses. The event includes dedicated triathlon distances, plus fun runs for a range of ages. Categories are offered for adults and children, with specific minimum ages for each course.
Key features:
- Pool swim, then transition to an on‑course bike leg
- Closed road, multi‑lap bike and run courses
- Fun runs available in 10 km, 5 km, 2.5 km, and 1.2 km
- Kids triathlon options with ages and shorter distances
Race support and operations include event check in and bag storage, transition areas where only competitors (and one parent during kids setup) may enter, course briefings, lifeguards for the swim, drink stations on the run, and event photography. Competitors receive a timing chip, swim cap, event gift, and race bib at check in. Headphones are not permitted for safety reasons.
The series has a fundraising relationship with the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Fundraising is optional and the series reports having raised over $2.8 million for breast cancer research and care. Information is provided for beginners, including a Tips and Tricks clinic and guidance on how transitions work. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
