Event overview
The Wild Earth NYE Resolution Run is scheduled for Wednesday, 31 December 2025 at Alabaster Fields (East), Carrara, immediately across the road from Emerald Lakes Golf Club. The event is centred on the Emerald Lakes Golf Course and nearby wetlands and lakeside paths. A free community carnival will run alongside the races with food trucks, live music, jumping castles, giant games and a family-friendly fireworks display at 7.30pm.
Races and entries
Participants can choose from multiple distances and formats:
- 13 km - Run the World
- 9 km - fisiocrem
- 4 km - mygc physio
- 4 km - Run Resilience Pram Push
- 2.5 km - Essential Energy Solar Dash (junior, prizes for overall and age groups)
- 1.25 km - Emerald Lakes Golf Club Junior Bolt
- Virtual run option also available
Each longer course uses the golf course, shaded wetlands path and a flat lakeside out-and-back section. Entry options include a personalised beach towel, or a medal and run cap; participants may purchase both options together for an additional fee.
On-site services and logistics
Event parking is provided off Alabaster Drive with capacity for over 500 vehicles; proceeds from a gold coin donation support Rotary Ashmore. There is additional street parking at the Gold Coast Sports precinct. The event village allows camp chairs and picnic setups. Post-race provisions include a complimentary drink from Mountain Goat Beer for adults, a kids ice treat, free iced water, FIXX Nutrition electrolyte, and free post-race massages from fisiocrem.
