Event overview
The Wild Earth NYE Resolution Run is an annual trail event held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. The 2025 edition is the eighth running and is based at Carrara / Emerald Lakes with activity shifting across the road to Alabaster Fields next to Emerald Lakes Golf Club. Entries open September 23, 2025. The event includes live music, a bar, fireworks in the evening, giant games, jumping castles and other activities for children.
Race details and options
Courses wind around the Emerald Lakes Golf Course then follow a shaded wetlands path. Longer races continue on an out-and-back along a flat lakeside path. Race options include:
- 4 km (mygc physio)
- 9 km (fisiocrem)
- 13 km (Run the World)
- 1.25 km junior (Emerald Lakes Golf Club Junior Bolt)
- 2.5 km junior (Essential Energy Solar Dash)
There is a 4 km "Run Resilience" pram-push option that starts on grass then joins the wetlands path. Participants may choose a finisher’s medal and run cap, or a 2025 commemorative personalised beach towel plus a race gift and a post-race drink.
