Triathlon du Parc national de la Yamaska
The Triathlon at Parc national de la Yamaska takes place around Réservoir Choinière and the park's forest trails in the Estrie region. The event is scheduled for June 7, 2026, and features multiple triathlon formats combining swimming, cycling and running.
Swims occur in the reservoir or open water. Cycling sections include asphalt roads and gravel surfaces, with one route extending toward the base of Mont Orford. Runs follow trails and natural paths around the lake. The program includes one of the few long distance triathlons held in Quebec.
Offered formats
- Sprint off road: reservoir swim, off road cycling, trail running
- Olympic: open water swim, road cycling, running around the reservoir
- Half long distance: reservoir swim, road cycling toward Mont Orford, run by the reservoir
- Long distance: two loops of the half long distance course, endurance format
Routes combine the reservoir, panoramic roads and forest trails. The setting is described as a natural environment managed for safety and race operations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
