Event overview
The Tri Star Triathlons & Duathlons take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, in Knoxville, TN (1648 Riverside Dr, 37915). The program includes sprint and Olympic formats plus related events: individual triathlons, aquabike races, duathlons, relay options, and weight-class categories listed as Athena (165+ female) and Clydesdale (220+ male). Race-day packet pickup and a transition area are provided, and a pre-race packet pickup is scheduled the day before at Ned McWherter Park.

Distances for the main race formats are:
- Sprint triathlon: Swim 300 yards, Bike 11.5 miles, Run 3.1 miles
- Olympic triathlon: Swim 1500 yards, Bike 25 miles, Run 6.2 miles
- Sprint duathlon: Run 2 miles, Bike 11.5 miles, Run 3.1 miles
- Olympic duathlon: Run 2 miles, Bike 25 miles, Run 6.2 miles
The swim takes place in the Tennessee River on a short loop that returns to the swim finish. The bike courses run along Riverside Drive into East Knoxville. The run follows the greenway and river, passing the Star of Knoxville riverboat launch and Volunteer Landing before returning to Riverside Park for the finish. Parking is available at Ned McWherter Park under the bridge and in an adjacent overflow lot. Course maps are provided and are under review; routes are subject to change by city or county officials.
