Overview
The Moon Run 5k takes place on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Victor Ashe Park in Knoxville, TN (4901 Bradshaw Road, 37912). Wallace Memorial Church is organizing the event to raise support for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, which will be used for global missions. The event is held at night by the light of the Moon; participants are encouraged to use head lamps, flashlights, glow sticks, or other night running gear.

Listed entry fees are $38.10 for the 5k (includes a $3.10 fee) and $32.80 for the 1 mile (includes a $2.80 fee). Registration is available through the event system and is scheduled to close on December 7, 2025. Packet pickup will be available on race day at the Victor Ashe pavilion. Shirt availability: registrations after November 10, 2025 will receive shirts while supplies last; the shirt order is placed on November 11, 2025.
Course, awards and policies
Both courses start and finish at the Victor Ashe Pavilion. The 5k is an out-and-back on the greenway, runs along the frisbee golf course, connects to the crosswalk to the Northwest Middle School Greenway, loops the lower loop, and returns to the pavilion. The 1 mile goes almost completely around the Victor Ashe soccer fields and returns to the start/finish area. 5k awards are planned by age divisions: 10 & under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & up. Race personnel may delay, cancel, or modify the event or course for unsafe conditions; refunds or transfers will not be given. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
