TRI-It Racing Clubs Du Kona Multi-sport Series
This event takes place at Mitchell Park on Guthrie Lake in Guthrie, Oklahoma. It is held as a one-day multi sport meeting and is the seventh edition. Organizers describe the lake as no wake in a protected cove with kayak support and a shoreline that allows spectators to follow the swim course.
The bike course uses multiple loops and leads to a fast run finish. Spectators can follow much of the action from the swim shoreline and along the looped bike and run courses.
Race formats offered include:
- Sprint: Swim 500 yd, Bike 18 mi, Run 3 mi
- Beat Buzz Super Sprint: Swim 200 yd, Bike 6 mi, Run 1 mi
- Duathlon: Run 2 mi, Bike 18 mi, Run 2 mi
- Super Sprint Aquabike: Swim 200 yd, Bike 6 mi
- Youth Under 12 (free): Swim 200 yd, Bike 6 mi
The Youth Under 12 entry is free. After registering, guardians must contact race management to select which Youth event the athlete will enter and may pay an additional fee for a race shirt. USA Triathlon youth membership options and associated benefits are noted for eligible young athletes.
Packet pickup is available on the day before and on race morning only. Only the registered athlete may pick up their packet and a photo ID is required. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
