TRI for FUN Triathlon and DU for FUN Duathlon
The TRI for FUN Triathlon and DU for FUN Duathlon take place at Rancho Seco Park in Herald, California. The event uses the park lake for the swim, a road bike course, and a dirt trail for the run. The venue offers camping and summertime lake water temperatures in the 70s.

- TRI for FUN: 1/2 mile swim - 16 mile bike - 3 mile run
- DU for FUN: 1 mile run - 16 mile bike - 3 mile run
Divisions include 10-year age groups for the triathlon, male and female categories for the duathlon, Athena and Clydesdale divisions, male, female and coed relays, and a challenged division. Awards are given to top finishers by division, including age-group awards for triathlon and overall awards for duathlon. All racers receive a TFF finisher item and post-race refreshments. Commemorative race t-shirts are available for a listed fee when ordered by the stated deadline.
Entry fee information and a no-refund policy are provided by the organizer. Refunds requested before race week may be issued as race credit minus a processing fee; transfers between events are allowed within a one-year timeframe for a transfer fee.
