Travis Russell Run-a-Thon
This event takes place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Walkers Park in Elkhart, Indiana. The primary activity is a series of ten consecutive 5K runs, starting on the hour from 6:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. Participants can join the event organizer for any number of these runs. The event raises funds for The Faith Mission of Elkhart, a local homeless shelter that supports veterans.
The event offers several participation formats:
- 5K Run "Free". NOT Timed!: A free, untimed 5K run or walk.
- One Mile Fitness Walk: A free, one-mile walk.
- 5K TIMED!: A timed, individual 5K event with a registration fee.
- 5K TEAM Timed Event: A timed team event for groups of 2 to 6 runners.
For the individual and team timed events, participants must complete each 5K in under one hour to remain eligible for overall awards. The final 5K time determines the winner. Participants who complete all ten 5Ks receive a medal. Top three awards are given for male and female individual participants, and for the top three teams. Timing is provided by Fleet Feet of Mishawaka.
Registered participants receive a $15 in-store voucher for Fleet Feet. T-shirts are available for pre-order and for purchase on the day of the event while supplies last. This event is part of the 2026 Fleet Feet Race Series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
