Trauma Survivor Run
The Trauma Survivor Run is a road running event held on May 23, 2026 at the Tays Center, 2235 N Scenic Dr., Alamogordo, New Mexico. Two race distances are offered:
- 5K (3.1 Miles)
- 10K (6.2 Miles)
Registration opened July 25, 2025 and closes on May 23, 2026. Entry fees are listed by distance: the 10K fee is $30.00 and the 5K fee is $25.00. T-shirts are provided to the first 200 registrants. Packet pickup is scheduled for May 22 at the Christus Health Conference Center, 2669 N. Scenic Drive, Alamogordo.
Awards are given to the overall first place male and female finishers and first place masters male and female in the 40 years and above category. Additionally, first, second, and third place awards are presented for male and female finishers in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over. Finisher medals are awarded to the first 200 finishers.
The event is associated with National Trauma Survivors Day and is described as a way to honor survivors, raise awareness, and provide a communal setting for healing and solidarity. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
