Event details
The Trauma Survivor Run is a community running event held in Alamogordo, NM on May 23, 2026. The race takes place at The Tays Center, 2235 N Scenic Dr., Alamogordo, NM 88310. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
The run is organized in recognition of National Trauma Survivors Day and aims to honor survivors and raise awareness.
Registration, packet pickup and awards
Registration fees are listed as $25 for the 5K and $30 for the 10K. T-shirts are provided to the first 200 registrants. Finisher medals are awarded to the first 200 finishers.
Packet pickup is scheduled for May 22 at the Christus Health Conference Center, 2669 N Scenic Drive, Alamogordo, in the Yucca room. Awards include 1st overall male and female, 1st master’s (40 years and above) male and female, and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female in 5K age divisions: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & over.
