Cloudcroft Ultra 53K
The Cloudcroft Ultra is a mountain trail event in Cloudcroft, New Mexico, organized by Wanderlust Running and scheduled for August 15, 2026. Races start and finish at the Pavilion in Zenith Park, located in the Sacramento Mountains at about 8,600 feet elevation.

- 4.75 mile
- 1 mile Kid's Dash for ages 13 and under
The 53K, 9.5 mile, and 4.75 mile courses are out-and-back on the Rim Trail (T105). The 53K adds a lollipop loop near the summit for additional climbing and views. The Rim Trail passes through stands of fir, pine, and quaking aspen and offers vistas over the Tularosa Basin. The Kid's Dash is a loop around Zenith Park.
Support and logistics for the 53K include six aid stations stocked with water, sport drink, gels, pretzels, chips, and candy, plus two permitted drop bag locations near mile 13 and mile 20. The 9.5 mile course has two aid stations. Crew access is allowed at specified aid stations on the out-and-back route.
Packet pickup is at the Pavilion in Zenith Park with a Friday evening option and a race morning option. All finishers receive a shirt and finisher medal; guaranteed shirt size required earlier registration. Chip timing is provided and all events are non-refundable.
