Trapp Cabin Trail Races
The Trapp Cabin Trail Races are held annually at the von Trapp Family Outdoor Center in Stowe, Vermont. The event offers trail races on trails that are not usually open to the general public and serves as a fundraiser for a nonprofit organization.
Racers follow a mapped route that begins on Sugar Road and continues onto Russel Knoll Track. The 10 km course continues on Chris’s Run to the Cabin and follows the single tracks Growler, Tapline, and Lodge Spur to the finish. The half marathon is a double loop of the 10.5 km course. The 5 km route diverts onto Old County Road before joining Tapline and Lodge Spur to the finish.
Distances:
- 5 km course uses Old County Road, Tapline, and Lodge Spur.
- 10 km course follows Chris’s Run, Growler, Tapline, and Lodge Spur.
- Half marathon is two laps of the 10.5 km loop.
