Trapp Cabin Trail Races
The Trapp Cabin Trail Races are held annually at the von Trapp Family Outdoor Center in Stowe, VT. The event offers multiple trail distances and is organized as a fundraiser for a registered non profit.

Racers follow Sugar Road and continue onto Russel Knoll Track. The 10 km route proceeds on Chris's Run to the Cabin and uses the single tracks Growler, Tapline, and Lodge Spur to the finish. The half marathon completes two laps of the 10.5 km loop. The 5 km course diverts onto Old County Road before joining Tapline and Lodge Spur to the finish. These trails are not usually open to the public.
Registration is managed through Run the Day and is open through Saturday, September 19 at 5pm ET. Standard registration fees listed include Youth Racer pricing and Adult pricing with higher rates applied for Day before Race Registration. Early bib pickup and late registration are scheduled on Saturday, September 19 at the Trapp Outdoor Center yurt.
Awards include participation medals for all entrants, medal presentations for the top female and male runners in each distance, and prizes for top finishers in each category. Free refreshments and snacks are provided and restrooms at the Outdoor Center are available to participants. The half marathon typically attracts over 150 racers from New England.
