About the race
The MSDA 5K Reindeer Run/Walk is the 16th annual edition of a community 5K event held in Caldwell, New Jersey, with an in person race and a virtual option. The in person event takes place at St. Aloysius Church Gymnasium, 235 Bloomfield Ave, Caldwell, NJ, with the entrance behind St.
Aloysius Church. The virtual event window runs from December 5 to December 12. Pre-race packet pick-up is scheduled on December 3 at Fleet Feet, 603 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair, and on December 4 at St. Aloysius Church Gymnasium.
An award ceremony follows the in person 5K. Registration pricing includes an early bird rate of $30 per person through November 1 and a standard rate of $35 per person after November 1. Registered participants who register by November 1 are guaranteed a Sport-Tek long sleeve dry weave T-shirt. Event amenities and competition details include a USATF Grand Prix 500-point designation, a $250 cash prize for top overall male and female finishers, awards for top finishers in each age group, a one-mile clock, and street parking.
