Asbury Park Santa Run

The Asbury Park Santa Run is a holiday-themed athletic event held in Asbury Park, New Jersey. The event features thousands of participants running or walking through the city streets. The 2026 edition marks the 11th year of the event.

The event consists of a single distance:

5 km run or walk

The course is a newly designed one-lap route on closed city streets. Participants receive chip-timed results for their performance. Every registration includes a Santa suit, which participants are expected to wear during the event.

The race supports the local non-profit organization Lunch Break. Registration fees include a donation to this charity. After completing the course, participants aged 21 and over have access to four different after-parties held at music venues within Asbury Park.
