Event overview

The Navesink Challenge 12k & 5k takes place on Sunday, November 29, 2026, at Bodman Park (120 Market St), Middletown, NJ 07701. The event is presented by the Jersey Shore Running Club and features two separate race events on the same day. Parking, a course map, and directions are provided by the organizer.

Both events list an entry fee of $34, with the price increasing after January 31, 2026. Bib and shirt pickup is scheduled on the Friday and Saturday before the race and the morning of race day at the M.Y.A.A. Little League Field clubhouse at Bodman Park and at Birdsmouth Brewing. All awards and shirts not claimed on race day are donated to local charities. There are no mailings and no refunds, deferrals, or credits.

An afterparty is planned at Birdsmouth Brewing (675 Oceanport Way, Oceanport) and includes food, raffle prizes, team award recognition, and one complimentary beer for runners and volunteers. The Township of Middletown prohibits drones, strollers, bikes, and dogs on race property; organizers request prior notification if a participant will be accompanied by a service animal.
