Event
The MVP Backyard Ultra - Last One Standing takes place at Brimbank Park, Keilor VIC 3036 from Fri 6th Feb to Mon 9th Feb 2026. The event uses a repeating loop format on a 6.7 km course. Runners complete the loop every hour; participants who finish each loop within the hour remain in the event.
Format and entries
Registration opens Wed 10th September. Entry includes an open unlimited-laps option and three limited-lap options. Entry price varies by registration period and option, with Super Special, Early, Standard and Late pricing tiers. Example fee ranges shown for the Open option: $180 to $280 across those tiers.
Distances / staged options:
- 4 Yards - 25k
- 7 Yards - 42k (marathon)
- 15 Yards - 100k
- Open - unlimited laps
Participants may upgrade mid-race to continue to the next stage. Course maps are provided as a downloadable PDF. Results treat all remaining participants equally each hour until one remains.
Additional information
Trailsplus events donate $1 per participant to Canteen. Trailsplus reports cumulative donations exceeding $80,000. In 2025 the event had 180 competitors and a $250 total donation to Canteen (including $70 online donations). Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
