About the race
Trailsplus MVP Backyard Ultra is hosted at Brimbank Park, Keilor VIC 3036. The format revolves around a 6.7km loop run hourly, with participants deciding how far to go each hour. After every hour, those still in the race are tied for first, making endurance and strategic pacing the keys to victory rather than pure speed.
Four entry options are available: 25km (4 yards), 42km (7 yards), 100km (15 yards), or Open (unlimited). The event emphasizes community and charity, with donations to Canteen per participant. In 2025, about 180 competitors took part.
