2XU Triathlon Series Race 1 : Elwood
The event takes place at Elwood Park, Elwood on Sunday 6 December 2026 as the first round of the 2XU Triathlon Series. It includes multiple race categories with minimum age requirements and published course distances.
Distances:
- Sprint: 500m swim / 20km bike / 5km run (minimum age 15)
- Fun Tri: 150m swim / 7km bike / 1.2km run (minimum age 12)
- Tri Kids: 100m swim / 3km bike / 500m run (ages 7–11)
E-guides are available for Sprint, Fun Tri and Tri Kids. eTickets for kit collection are emailed to participants on the Thursday of race week and are used for collecting event kits either the day before or the day of the race. Kit collection, bike check-in and pre-race briefings are run across the Saturday prior and race morning.
Entry fees (inclusive of GST and booking fees) are listed per category and increase by $10 from Wednesday 2 December. Triathlon Australia membership is mandatory; one-day memberships are available at specified rates for each distance.
Beach Road will be closed between St Kilda St and Kerferd Rd on race morning with managed course crossings and resident access maintained.
