2XU Triathlon Series Race 1 : Elwood
The 2XU Triathlon Series Race 1 takes place on Sunday 6 December 2026 at Elwood Park, Elwood. The event offers three race categories with specified minimum ages and course distances.
Distances
- Sprint Series (minimum age 15): 500m swim / 20km bike / 5km run
- Fun Tri (minimum age 12): 150m swim / 7km bike / 1.2km run
- Tri Kids (age 7 to 11): 100m swim / 3km bike / 500m run
E-guides for Sprint, Fun Tri and Tri Kids are provided to participants. Participants receive eTickets for kit collection by email during race week. No event day registrations are available; registrations close on Friday 4 December unless sold out, and a late fee applies from Wednesday 2 December.
Triathlon Australia membership is mandatory; one day memberships are available at different costs depending on distance. Entry fees vary by category and team or individual entry, with examples including $119 for individual Sprint and $46 for individual Tri Kids. Fees include GST and booking fees. The Sprint distance includes an updated run course at Elwood compared to past events.
Beach Road will be closed during the event and managed crossings and traffic management will be in place. Draft legal categories and eligibility are specified for elite and junior divisions in early series races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
